We regard the waters of our mothers as our one true baptism, the sacred beginning of life itself. River baptism, to us, is a symbolic renewal: a reenactment of that original beauty and innocence. We do not see it as necessary for salvation or purity of the soul. Rather, it is a voluntary act of rebirth, a new beginning for those seeking to reconnect with their inner child and rediscover peace within themselves and within the world.

Baptism Prayer
"By the power of God,
I lower you into these waters,
that sin may be washed away."
"And by the power of God,
I raise you from these waters,
that your new life may begin."
"Walk now upon this earth with mercy and justice.
Seek peace within yourself,
peace with others,
and peace with God."
"Go forward renewed in spirit,
and steadfast in the light."
"Amen"
